The CAAM-HP received several requests for another capacity building workshop following that held in March 2017. So successful and well received was this developmental activity that some participants as well as other institutions requested another staging. Hence CAAM-HP hosted another Workshop. This was held July 25-28 in Trinidad and Tobago at the Hyatt Regency.

Revised Fees for consultancy and accreditation services

The NCFMEA reviewed the information submitted regarding CAAM-HP’s medical education accreditation activities on behalf of the Governments of Barbados and St Vincent & the Grenadines for an initial determination of comparability. The Committee determined that the standards and processes used by the CAAM-HP to accredit medical schools in both Barbados and St Vincent & the Grenadines are comparable to those used to accredit medical schools in the U.S.
