A note on Candidacy
Candidacy is the status granted to new programmes which the Authority reviews from the initial phase of development of the
programme (New and Developing Schools). Candidacy is not accreditation and does not guarantee eventual accreditation.
Candidacy merely indicates that a school has met the minimum standards to begin operations.
Schools in this category are monitored on an annual basis.
