Update on COVID-19 Impact Update #1

CAAM-HP, like most other organisations, has had its operations significantly affected by the coronavirus pandemic. In addition to our offices being closed, the Capacity Building Workshop previously scheduled for July 26-28, 2020, all site visits as well as our Annual General Meeting are postponed until further notice. 
We are aware that institutions, having had to close their campuses and resort to remote teaching in so far as it relates to instruction in the basic sciences, are concerned about maintaining accreditation standards as they adjust their operations. Indeed, these unprecedented times force all of us to revisit our operations and give due consideration to adjusting our policies and procedures and standards without compromising the integrity of our work in order to best navigate the new global space which we are now seeing and which will obtain after the pandemic.

We will continue to monitor the situation and provide further updates.
