So successful and well received was this developmental activity that some participants as well as other institutions requested another staging. Hence CAAM-HP hosted another Workshop. This was held July 25-28 in Trinidad and Tobago at the Hyatt Regency.

    The NCFMEA reviewed the information submitted regarding CAAM-HP’s medical education accreditation activities on behalf of the Governments of Barbados and St Vincent & the Grenadines for an initial determination of comparability. The Committee determined that the standards and processes used by the CAAM-HP to accredit medical schools in both Barbados and St Vincent & the Grenadines are comparable to those used to accredit medical schools in the U.S.
